John Walker of Blythe Fitness CenterJohn has 35 years experience in the weight room, starting with strength training as a high school swimmer and continuing to the present. A retired police sergeant, he has personal experience with strength training, diet, supplementation and the mental requirements needed for success in the gym. He envisions the Blythe Fitness Center as a full-service gym with with something for everyone.

Margot Fleming  -  Manager

Margot Fleming of Blythe Fitness CenterMargot has been with Blythe Fitness Center since its inception, establishing the company's business plans and creating its initial marketing and communications campaigns. She was instrumental in the planning and design of the facilities and all of its services and programs for members. She currently serves as Manager for Blyth Fitness Center, where she overseas day-to-day operations including membership, group exercise and training programs, and marketing efforts.

Christopher Dominguez of Blythe Fitness CenterCHRISTOPHER DOMINGUEZ  -  Karate Instructor
United Combat Arts is a system that utilizes techniques from several traditional systems, simplified to be effective in the modern world we live in today. Sensei Dominguez first began training in maChristopher Dominguez of United Combat Artsrtial arts at the age of 8.

Many years later he received his first Black belt in the japanese art of Shotokan Karate under Master Antique Adams. He then moved to San Diego and began training in Muay Thai (The art of 8-poing striking) which utilizes a wide variety of striking include knees and elbows.

After returning to the Blythe area, Dominguez began training in the art of Sai-Gi-Do which is a hybrid art that incorporates the Korean art of Tang Soo Do, the Korean Art of Christopher Dominguez of United Combat ArtsHapkido, the Japanese Art of Jido, the Chinese Art of Chinese Boxing, and the Korean Art of Tae Kwon Do.

After receivingChristopher Dominguez of Blythe Fitness Center his 2nd Black Belt from Grandmaster Allan Kafes, Sensei Dominguez took a break to develop United Combat Arts with a goal that his students would be respectful of all martial artists and never believe one system is better than another, with the hope that all United Combat Arts Students will be well-rounded individual rather than rigid stylists. Dominguez is currently a student in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and believes "You can alwasy improve, and you should rember that always."



K-Rock of Blythe Fitness Center DAVID  -  Kickboxing Instructor

David (250 lbs) entered into kickboxing in the 1970's as a member of the West Virginia University Kickboxing Team. In the 1980's he competed as a member of several sponsored fight teams as well as the United States Air Force Kickboxing Team from 1985 to 1987. In the 1990's he expanded his skills with Muay Thai Kickboxing training in Thailand and Wushu and Chinese Sabre training in southern China.

K-Rock of Blythe Fitness CenterCareer-to-date he has achieved a professional record of 16 wins (5 by knockout), 3 losses, and 1 draw and has competed in events in the United States, China, Thailand and Japan in both Full Contact and Muay Thai competitions. His formal training includes Isshin-ryu Karate, Muay Thai Kickboxing, Hand-to-hand combat, Chi Lin Chuan Fa Kung Fu, Philippino
Stick Fighting, and Wushu including Tai Chi and Chinese Sabre.

He is active in community service and continues to enjoy providing martial arts instruction for individuals, fitness centers, police organizations and colleges and universities.
